Salatul Ayaat
The Salat al-Ayat (the salat of Allah's creation or signs) becomes wajib under any one of the four following conditions: (i) solar eclipse; (ii) lunar eclipse, although it may be partially eclipsed and even though it may not create fear among the people; (iii) earthquake, although it may not create fear for anyone: (iv) thunder, lightning. red and black winds or storms, and the like which create 'fear among most people. . .
Month of Rajab
Rajab marks the beginning of the spiritual season of every believer ending with the end of the fasting month of Ramadan with the Eid Al-Fitr. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) has said: "Rajab is a great month of Allah (SWT), unmatched by any other month in the respect and significance (accorded to it); war with the infidels during this month is prohibited; Verily, Rajab is Allah's month, Sha'ban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted. . .
Holy Month of Sha'ban
This holy month is ascribed to the Holy Prophet (s) who used to observe fasting in it and connect it to the obligatory fasting of Ramadan. He (s) used to say, "Sha'ban is my month; hence, Paradise will be incumbently decided for one who observes fasting on one day of my month.". . .
Holy Month of Ramadan
The month of Ramadan has arrived again, the month of fasting and prayer. It is the month that provides an opportunity for forgiveness from Allah and emancipation from our sins. It is the month for performing good deeds and giving in charity. It is the month when the gates of the heavens are opened and the rewards for our deeds are magnified many times over. It is the month wherein prayers are answered and the status of the worshipper is elevated. It is the month wherein sins are forgiven.
